8. Security measures we take

- Organizational measures: We have appointed a person responsible for the handling of personal information (the supervision manager) and defined the staff who handle personal information.
- Human measures: We regularly train our staff on the handling of personal information and keep attendance records.
- Technical measures: My Page can be accessed only through a link or a verification code (each valid for 15 minutes) sent to the registered email address, and what can be viewed is separated by company. Payment information is limited to each company’s accounting contact.
- Understanding of external environments: We use cloud services provided by overseas businesses (in the United States and Australia). The servers that store data are in the United States and Japan; in addition, some services place data centers in several countries and do not let users choose where data is stored, so the country cannot be identified (the candidates are the countries each provider publishes as data center locations). Some services provided by domestic businesses may also have their group companies handle data from South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Thailand. We take security control measures based on an understanding of the personal information protection systems of these countries, using sources such as the surveys of foreign systems published by the Personal Information Protection Commission.
9. Requests for disclosure of retained personal data
We accept requests for notification of the purposes of use, disclosure (including records of provision to third parties), correction, addition, or deletion, suspension of use or erasure, and suspension of provision to third parties at the contact point below. After confirming the identity of the individual (or, for an agent, the agent’s authority), we will respond without delay by the method requested (such as provision of electronic records or delivery of documents). Requests by post are accepted at the address in 1. There is no fee.
